Quickstart
1. Choose a Difficulty
From the home page, select your difficulty level:
- Easy — Great for beginners, ~35 clues
- Medium — A bit more challenge
- Hard — Requires techniques beyond scanning
- Expert — For experienced solvers
- Master — Near the limit of comfortable solving
- Evil — The ultimate test

2. Start Solving
Select a cell — Click any empty cell to select it. It highlights along with its row, column, and box.
Enter a number — Press 1-9 on your keyboard or tap the number pad below the grid.
Use notes — Press N to toggle notes mode. Enter multiple candidates in a cell when you're unsure.
Undo mistakes — Press Ctrl+Z or tap the undo button. You can undo as many times as needed.
3. Complete the Puzzle
Fill every cell so that:
- Each row contains 1-9
- Each column contains 1-9
- Each 3×3 box contains 1-9
When you've correctly filled the entire grid, you win!
Quick Tips
- Blue numbers are your entries; dark numbers are given clues
- Red numbers indicate conflicts — check your work
- The timer tracks your solve time (hide it in settings if you prefer)
- Keyboard navigation — Arrow keys move between cells
